Preferred Vendors FAQ

We wanted to take a second not only to THANK our excellent vendors but also recognize that not all buyers and sellers realize just how important it is to choose FABULOUS vendors. We've created a quick FAQ section to help you understand not only WHO these "vendors" are but how important it is to choose wisely.

Vendor FAQ

1. Who are "vendors" and what do they do?

"Vendors" represent anyone during the transaction who is called to duty after a contract has been submitted and accepted. Lenders, Title Company and Inspectors are the most common Real Estate Vendors. They are essential to ensuring your transaction will close smoothly with minimal problems. If you don't have a vendor you can trust, the deal could go south.

2. How should I choose my vendors?

Typically when you hire a Real Estate Agent, they will provide you with a list of "preferred vendors" that you will want to review and choose from. These are people that your Realtor has personally established a working relationship with and they feel confident that these people will do an excellent job for you, making the each transaction as problem-free as possible. The worst thing to do is randomly pick people who have no tie to your Realtor because it makes the transaction extremely difficult not only for you, but for all parties involved.

3. How do I know who will do a good job for me?

Communication is key. If you call someone and they don't call you back within 24 hours, they are probably not going to do a good job of closing your loan, meeting title requirements or providing a quality home inspection. They will also not communicate with your Realtor making the entire process a nightmare.
